Lori Hoxha the "IT girl"

The one who speaks through fashion and work

Back in our high school days, us Albanian millennials can vividly remember when a fashion-forward girl would debut her blog. Lori Hoxha, influenced by her love for London and with a keen eye for style, delighted us with snapshots of her daily life, vacations, and social events, all revolving around the world of fashion, solidifying her status as the ultimate “IT girl.”

Lori would be the girl who would wear together Zara or Top Shop with Louboutin and she would do it in such style that would make Top Shop be mistaken for a high-end brand. We would see her in leather and skulls. Always in good shoes (mostly high-heels) and Lori has always had an eye for good ones. And from time to time,  holding her mother’s Birkins.

Her blog came to an end and we miss it to this day, but her Instagram days became even better. Her style elevated to a more mature, sexier one. A sexy dress, or a sexier top, Lori knew what would go with her physique, while we were all eyes on her posts.

Today, she is more reserved when it comes to sharing her life, and her style has changed to a simplier, more mature one; one suitable for a CEO. In a Dolce&Gabbana tuxedo jacket, Loewe sweaters or Brunello Cucinelli’s ones and Sa Su Phi cashmere jumpers, Lori’s fashion sense speaks now in a quieter tone. Comfort first while always reflecting professionalism and respect for the role she is fulfilling. But Lori, has remained true to her love for fashion. As true that before every major event, we still ask “What would Lori Hoxha be wearing?” Lori can now be a successful CEO, but to us she will always be the “IT girl”.
