The Newest Design Intervention on the Coast of Southern Albania
The Morina Beach Hotel, located on the beautiful Radhime Beach in Southern Albania, is a stunning mix of modernity and Mediterranean vibes.
Designed by BG Studio, led by Besnik Granica and Arselda Brahimi, this hotel aims to be a new landmark in the area. We talked to Besnik Granica, the lead architect and founder of BS Studio, to understand the idea behind this remarkable hotel.
“Our goal was to create a hotel that feels modern but also captures the beauty of Mediterranean beaches,” Granica says. “We were inspired by the rapid growth in the area and wanted to transform the existing building while keeping its charm.”
Welcoming Ground Floor
The ground floor of Morina Beach Hotel is a lively and inviting space. Guests can easily find parking and are welcomed by a spacious reception area. The design of the reception is both functional and stylish, making guests feel at home from the moment they arrive.
Dining and Relaxation by the Sea
The hotel features a buffet area for breakfast, and a beach veranda restaurant where guests can enjoy meals with a view of the azure waters. There’s also a pool surrounded by large umbrellas, perfect for relaxing by the coast.
Inside, the upper floors of the hotel boast beautifully designed rooms with balcony loggias encraved from the volume, each with a unique color scheme inspired by the Mediterranean. The rooms are arranged so that every guest can enjoy a stunning view of the sea.
Perfect Orientation and Prime Location
Morina Beach Hotel is perfectly situated on Radhime Beach, with the Llogara Tunnel to the south and Vlora Airport to the north. This prime location makes it a hotspot for visitors. Granica explains, “We carefully designed the hotel to ensure every room has a view of the Ionian Sea, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the coast.”
