The menu is based directly on the products from the farm and that of farmers and breeders surrounding the guesthouse. The menu consists on Mediterranean and Balkan cuisine re-interpreted with a modern twist; as for example the artisanal home cheese on cherry jam and kadayif which tastes were balanced very well together, the yummy humus with chickpeas, and the pie, just in case you are missing your grandma’s one. If there is Balkan cuisine, there is bread and meat. At Fustanella you will find bread made of wheat flour, wild blueberries and different seeds. As for the meat, we had the Kid meat served with baked patatoes on the side. It was cooked in a perfect way and the tenderness of the meat had remained.

After the lunch you can enjoy a stroll in the village. Petrela Castle is located only hundreds of meters away. To the southeast lies the grand tomb of the ancient Illyrian settlement of Persqop, followed by the walls and the settlement itself a bit farther. Surrounding this area are abundant natural wonders, from the Black Cave in the village of Pëllumbasi to the Syri Ciklopit waterfall near Krraba, and further on, the serene lake of Farka.
