The Art of Accessorizing

Inspired by Aureta

A couple of months back, as I was packing for my summer vacation, I noticed that me and Aureta had the same top, yet with a significant difference; mine didn’t quite complement my physique. I had made peace with the fact that the top was made specifically for her, until my mum uttered “It’s not the top, it’s Aureta”. Indeed, it’s not only good taste that makes the outfit, it’s the attitude that truly brings it to life. And Aureta, like no other, possesses that enchanting ability to infuse an extra dash of charm through her choice of accessories.

Aureta’s instagram looks like it is telling us a visual story and outfitting is her language. One can be easily fascinated by her collection of sunglasses, while she makes sure to pack 5 pairs of them on her trips, so as to have the right pair for the right view and for the perfect outfit.

For Aureta, too much jewelry, is not enough jewelry, as long as you are a master like her on combining the pieces. Both vintage and brand new, from shiny diamonds to the quean pearl, Aureta understands the power of each.

A drama lover and a risk taker, Aureta never forgets to accessorize her hair. A diamond hat for that extra glamour, or little flowers for the playful look, because fashion should never be taken seriously.

You are naive to think that she doesn’t pay attention to the bags. Aureta had her very own adventure of creating a handbag collection; Bienen Davis X Aureta. Inspired by her safari trip, she infused all her experiences on each bag. Her collection features rainbow crystals and zebra print, a clutch with giraffe detail and colorful basket totes.

For all you fabulous people of Instagram world, allow me to gently break the news: the trend of “style don’t just wear it” was, in fact, pioneered by the one and only Aureta!
