If during our stay in the South of France we would have to rate the place that had the best lushary location near the sea, that would absolutely be Château de Valmer.
Located in La Croix Valmer, just a few kilometers from St Tropez, the Château de Valmer stands proudly on Gigaro beach. Originally a mansion of a winery, this exquisite 5-star hotel has been renovated and transformed into a charming country house. It is elegantly decorated with careful attention to preserving and enhancing its former glory, blending seamlessly with the Provencal countryside and its proximity to the sea.
During the day, one may be staying at the beach. In the afternoon, a cocktail would be very enjoyable under the palm trees. The palm trees surrounding Château de Valmer create a serene and tropical atmosphere, perfectly complementing its seaside location near Gigaro beach. Their graceful fronds sway gently in the breeze, adding a touch of exotic charm to the Provencal countryside.
The room where we stayed at Château de Valmer featured elegant neutral tones that harmonized beautifully with the lush greenery surrounding the property. The soft palette of creams, beiges, and subtle earth tones complemented the natural surroundings, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere indoors. This seamless blend of colors ensured that every moment spent in the room was a tranquil retreat, perfectly aligned with the peaceful ambiance of the Provencal countryside and the nearby sea.
The Château simply had the best combination of sea, greenery and peaceful rooms.
