Located at one of Tirana’s most iconic landmarks, the Pyramid of Tirana, ATY te Piramida Bar and Restaurant stands as the latest design intervention in the city’s bustling social scene. The restaurant is housed in one of the exterior cubes of the Pyramid which is designed by the renowned MVRDV Architecture Studio.

The ATY space spans in two floors—the ground floor and the upper floor—with a total surface of around 200m². This design allows for an intimate yet expansive dining experience, with the option to extend to the outdoor area. Guests can enjoy their meals at tables and chairs set up outside, providing a perfect spot to soak in the lively atmosphere of Tirana’s most important sightseeing spot.

The interior design of ATY is the brainchild of DOR Design Studio, led by the talented Dorina Prifti. After studying architecture and interior design in Cyprus, Dorina returned to Albania to invest in and contribute to the local design scene. Her journey has been nothing short of a success story. In 2015, she opened the Seletti Store Tirana, a venture that has grown significantly under her leadership. Following this, she launched her own design studio, DOR Design Studio, located next to the Seletti Flagship Store.

ATY te Piramida Bar and Restaurant is a concept brought to life by Albanian celebrity Eraldo Rexho, in collaboration with Dorina Prifti. Together, they have curated an eclectic design using renowned brands like Seletti. The interior features table lamps, chairs, tables, mirrors, lamps, plates, and services from Seletti, as well as whimsical wallpaper from Studio Jobs and TOILETPAPER MAGAZINE. The result is a space that feels like stepping into an Alice in Wonderland-esque dream, with black and white chess-like tiles adding to the surreal ambiance.

SELETTI and Studio Job have a reputation for creating some of the most unconventional and innovative designs. Their collaboration brings a cheeky and irresistibly unique character to the space. The home decor collection from Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari’s TOILETPAPER MAGAZINE further enhances the restaurant’s quirky vibe. The surreal images from TOILETPAPER blend eclectically with Seletti’s eccentric design elements.

Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba, one of Italy’s most esteemed art designers, has contributed to the space with his creations inspired by the natural and animal world. His work with Seletti adds an artistic touch to everyday objects, resulting in experimental and unexpected designs.

Among the most special items in ATY is THE INNER CHILD GLOW LAMP, a limited-edition piece by Seletti and Marcantonio. The lamp, the 29th piece out of 999, gives a mystical touch to the space, especially considering that ATY opened on the 29th of July—a serendipitous coincidence for the superstitious.

The two-floor layout of ATY offers distinct experiences. The ground floor hosts the dining area, complete with Seletti tableware, plates, glasses, and services. The upper floor is a more intimate bar and lounge, perfect for enjoying live music or a relaxed drink. The space also features a stage in the shape of a dart board next to the stairs, adding a playful element to the ground floor. The outdoor area, where the grand opening featured performances by Elsa Lila and other Albanian celebrities, is perfect for hosting events and music performances.

ATY te Piramida Bar and Restaurant is more than just a dining venue; it’s a delightful blend of innovative design and creative collaboration. With its prime location, eclectic decor, and the creative vision of Dorina Prifti and Eraldo Rexho, it promises to be a standout destination in Tirana’s vibrant culinary and social scene.
