Nestled along the pristine Livadh Beach in southern Albania, Dimitri Hotel is a masterpiece of design, conceived by IC Architecture Atelier. This boutique hotel draws inspiration from ancient mythology, particularly the term mythos, which originally signified word, project, or even story. Like the Greek gods, who each carried a unique identity, Dimitri Hotel embraces personalization, with each room carrying its own name while maintaining a cohesive, luxurious aesthetic.
The design philosophy revolves around stirring the senses through dynamic shapes—soft oval forms flow seamlessly into sharp, linear lines—creating a blend of warmth and sophistication. This playful contrast is further enhanced by the use of natural materials such as rattan and bamboo furniture, which lend an organic, textured feel to the space.
A palette of pastel beige, soft orangey hues, and woody tones reflects the tranquillity of the Ionian Sea, ensuring the interiors are harmonious with their coastal surroundings. These materials and colours complement the tactile appeal of the design, from the finely textured wall surfaces to the smooth curves of the furnishings.
