How Does The House Of The High-Profile Billionaire Look?
How does the house of the high-profile billionaire look
Kylie Jenner, born on August 10, 1997. At the age of 18 she ventured into the beauty industry with the launch of Kylie Cosmetics in 2015. At the age of 19 she was listed by Forbes as one of the youngest self-made billionaires. Beyond cosmetics, Kylie has also demonstrated her business acumen in fashion and has been recognized for her influence in the entertainment and social media spheres, solidifying her status as a multifaceted entrepreneur and cultural icon.
Today, we are entering her Los Angeles residence, located in the suburb of Hidden Hills, close to the homes of Kris Jenner and her other high-profile siblings, because family, especially the Kardashian-Jenner one, should stay close together.
Kylie wanted her dream home to have the fresh, fun vibe to match with her feelings. That’s why designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard added pieces from Damien Hirst’s “I Love You” series in the dining room, along with Brass chandelier by Coup D’etat, a Jean-Michel Basquiat artwork in her living room, again eight Damien Hirst prints hang in the master bedroom’s sitting area and black-and-white photographs featuring Brigitte Bardot, Audrey Hepburn, and Twiggy. In essence, Martyn curated artworks suitable for a young collector with feminine tastes. “Everything reflects Kylie’s personality,” notes Bullard.
What is noticeable in the house is the colour pink. Kylie loves pink and she requested a lot of it. But for Jenner, prioritizing functionality to perfection is key, as she emphasizes the personalized nature of her closets and glam room, the two rooms she spends most of her time. Every detail, including the size of each drawer, is meticulously designed to accommodate her specific products and clothing.
Jenner proudly mentions the presence of Kylie Cosmetics, awards, and magazine covers throughout her home, serving as constant inspiration in her daily life. The dining room showcases custom-dyed leather chairs, mirroring hues from Kylie’s lipstick range, spanning ceruse to pale pink to deep garnet. In the living room, fluid brass consoles creatively interpret the drip patterns found in the makeup line’s distinctive packaging.
Midway through the project, Jenner discovered she was expecting a baby with rapper Travis Scott, prompting a retrofit for a nursery and playroom. A house filled with not just ordinary toys, because in Kylie’s world, it’s all about the blink. Think a Fendi baby stroller and a Lamborghini child’s car, among the array of high-end playthings.
But of course mum should have some fun too, reserved in the bar lounge room. In a vintage Milo Baughman sofa, preparing cocktails in the vintage Karl Springer cocktail tables.
All very glamorous yet completely welcoming. “Kylie enjoys hosting people, and everything is designed to be enjoyed—there’s nothing so precious that you can’t stand, jump, or dance on it,” Bullard describes the decorative blend for Vogue Living Australia.
