Us being passionate about restaurants gracefully holding Michelin Stars, couldn’t help but dine in the Restaurante Skina, where we experienced firsthand what makes this establishment deserving of its two Michelin Stars. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Skina excels in all the criteria outlined above.

The evening began with an exceptional introduction to their cellar, showcasing their impressive selection of wines. This initial engagement set the tone for an evening steeped in culinary artistry and attention to detail. Following this, we were guided to the bar area.

When we finally took our seats at the table, the experience truly began. We had opted for the seasonal nine-course menu, which provided a comprehensive showcase of Skina’s culinary prowess. Each dish was wonderfully cooked and paired with a carefully chosen liquid accompaniment, enhancing and complementing the flavors of the food.

The meal commenced with a refreshing detox course, a thoughtful introduction designed to cleanse the palate; a delicate merengue that set a sophisticated tone for the evening.

In the courses that followed, we were served a variety of dishes, including expertly prepared mushrooms and smoked eel, which highlighted their skill in ingredient selection and preparation. The sea bream, perfectly cooked and presented, showcased the restaurant’s attention to detail and flair for combining flavors. Each course was a masterpiece, and the sorbet offered a delightful and refreshing end to the meal.

From the initial introduction to their extensive wine cellar to the creative and delicious nine-course seasonal menu, every aspect of our dining experience underscored their commitment to excellence. This memorable evening exemplified the criteria for Michelin Stars, reaffirming why Restaurante Skina is celebrated as one of Marbella’s premier dining destinations.
